Cyclone Notice - Port Hedland International Airport

The Port Hedland International Airport (PHIA) is currently open.

Closure procedures will commence once Yellow Alert for Tropical Cyclone Rusty is declared. All commercial flights will cease three hours after the Yellow Alert has been called.

A flight which is in transit when the Yellow Alert is declared will have sufficient time to land at PHIA and return to its base.

When the Yellow Alert is called, no aircraft will be able to commence a flight into Port Hedland.

All passengers are encouraged to contact their airlines for more flight information and updates, as the PHIA is unable to provide this information.
